How long does the ride take?

The time of the ride is yet to be announced. The previous wheel's ride took 30 minutes.

How far will I be able to see?

When the Wheel was first up, it had 360° panoramic views and see up to 40 kilometres from top – peer down into the City then across Victoria to as far as the Dandenong Ranges. These details may be slightly different when the new wheel opens depending on the dimensions of the structure

How high does it reach?

The original Southern Star reached 120 metres high in the sky – equal in height to a 40-storey building. The hight of the new Southern Star is yet to be announced.

How many cabins are there around the wheel?

The original Southern Star had 21 cabins around the wheel. The number of cabins on the new Southern Star is yet to be announced.

How many people can fit in a cabin?

Do the cabins have air conditioning?

The old cabins had air conditioning, so it is also most likely that the new cabins will also have air conditioning
